No PayPal account? No problem. You can check out as a guest through PayPal using a valid debit or credit card. You do not need to create a PayPal account to complete your purchase.


How Payment Works on PhoxHunter

Here’s what happens when you place an order:

  1. You add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. You enter your shipping and contact information.
  3. You select "PayPal" as your payment method.
  4. You are redirected to PayPal's secure payment page.
  5. You log in to PayPal or check out as a guest.
  6. You review and confirm the payment amount.
  7. Once confirmed, you are redirected back to PhoxHunter, and you receive an order confirmation email.

We do not have access to your credit card number, bank account details, or PayPal password at any time. All sensitive financial information stays with PayPal.


Pricing & Transparency

What you see is what you pay. Our pricing approach is straightforward:

  • The price displayed on the product page is the final price before tax.
  • Sales tax (if applicable) is calculated and shown at checkout based on your shipping address.
  • We do not charge hidden fees — no service fees, no subscription requirements, no surprise charges.
  • Shipping is free to the contiguous US and Canada (see our Shipping Policy for details).

Security Measures We Take

Order Confirmation & Billing

Once your payment is successfully processed, you will receive an order confirmation email from us within minutes. This email includes:

What currency are prices shown in?
All prices on our website are in US Dollars (USD). Your payment method (credit card or PayPal) may apply a currency conversion fee if your account is in a different currency. Please check with your bank or PayPal for their conversion rates.

Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax is applied to orders shipped to states where we have a legal obligation to collect it. The tax amount is calculated based on your shipping address and will be shown at checkout before you complete your payment.

My PayPal payment was declined. What should I do?
If PayPal declines your payment, please contact PayPal support directly — the issue is usually on their end (e.g., payment limit, account verification, or security flag). Once resolved, you can return to our website and complete your order. If you continue to have issues, email us and we will do our best to help.

I see a pending charge on my account but no order confirmation.
A pending charge (sometimes called an authorization hold) is temporary. If you did not receive an order confirmation, the transaction may not have completed successfully. The hold will typically drop off your account within 3–7 business days. Contact us if you need assistance.
