Warranty Information

At PhoxHunter, we stand behind the quality of our folding electric bikes. Every e-bike we sell is designed, assembled, and tested for regular use. This page explains our warranty policy.


1. Warranty Coverage

All PhoxHunter folding electric bikes come with a 1-year limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Covered components include:

  • Frame and fork (original owner only)
  • Motor and controller
  • Battery (defects only — not wear, capacity loss, or misuse)
  • Display and throttle
  • Charger and wiring harness

This warranty applies only to the original owner and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required for all warranty claims.


2. Battery Warranty Details

The battery is covered for 1 year from the original purchase date against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal degradation of capacity over time (all lithium-ion batteries lose capacity with use)
  • Damage from improper storage, charging, or exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Physical damage from accidents, drops, or water exposure
  • Unauthorized disassembly or modification

3. What's Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear: tires, brake pads, chains, grips, cables, spokes, fenders, and other consumable parts
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
  • Water damage or exposure to extreme weather (batteries are water-resistant, not waterproof)
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations
  • Damage resulting from assembly errors not performed by PhoxHunter or an authorized technician
  • Damage from using the bike for commercial purposes (rental, delivery, etc.)
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality (scratches, paint chips, etc.)

4. Warranty Claim Process

If you believe your e-bike has a warranty-related issue, please contact us first.

To process your claim, please provide:

  • Your order number and purchase date
  • Photos or videos clearly showing the problem
  • A brief description of the issue and when it started
  • Your current shipping address (for replacement parts)

Our team will review your claim within 3–5 business days and provide instructions for diagnosis, repair, or replacement.


5. Repair or Replacement

If a part is found to be defective under warranty, PhoxHunter will, at its discretion:

  • Provide a replacement part, or
  • Arrange for repair or replacement of the defective product

Replacement parts may be new or refurbished (functionally equivalent) and will be shipped at no cost within the warranty period. The customer is responsible for labor costs associated with installation unless otherwise agreed.


6. Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

For defective parts: PhoxHunter will cover the cost of shipping replacement parts to you.

If we need you to return a defective part or the entire bike:

  • PhoxHunter will provide a prepaid return label if the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect.
  • If the item is found to be non-defective (e.g., customer misuse or normal wear), you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

7. How to Register Your Warranty

Your warranty is automatically activated upon purchase. No separate registration is required. However, we recommend:

  • Keeping your order confirmation email and receipt
  • Saving the original packaging for at least 30 days (in case of return or damage claim)

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, PhoxHunter and VOGUE VAULT LLC are not responsible for any incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from product use, misuse, or inability to operate. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts as described above. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.


9. Second-Hand / Resold Bikes

The PhoxHunter warranty applies only to the original purchaser from our website or authorized dealers. Warranty coverage does not transfer to second-hand owners. If you purchased a used PhoxHunter bike, we offer paid support and replacement parts — contact us for assistance.


10. Support Beyond Warranty

After your warranty expires, we can provide:

  • Paid replacement parts (batteries, motors, displays, tires, brake pads, etc.)
  • Maintenance advice and troubleshooting guides
  • Repair recommendations (we can help you find a local bike shop)
